This is hands down always been my favorite story of yours. I like that they struggle to be together because their situation is hard, not just because of their personalities. When you have that many people involved so intimately in your life, it *is* like a third person always in the relationship too, and I really love that dynamic that you explore, especially with trying to bring Oliver, an outsider, in and wanting to shield him from that, like if Grace can convince him that the bad parts aren't true then she can pretend they aren't true too. I wish I knew what happened when Grace finally made it out - though you did hint at it previously with Brooke. I wish I knew more what Alex was thinking - I really liked the original version of this too from his perspective, but I find that Grace has more internal sturggle about her life and those challenges are interesting to read. I wish I knew what was going to happen when they get back to the city, if Oliver will propose, if Grace regrets the kiss when they were young, and what Grace's mum thinks about what she saw then. I wish I knew what Grace actually wants from her life, where she wants to go and what makes her happy. I feel like this story has so many unanswered questions, and your writing is so rich it is like finding out about friends but not finding out what carries them forward in their life!
I know this story is on hiatus, but I would love if you ever found the time and inspiration to continue!

I was always intrigued by Alex in SMtL, so I'm happy you've decided to do a story about him and Grace, though I'm surprised its nine years later! I'm sad its on hiatus too :( Very upsetting. I hope you pick it back up soon!

Yikes! You're such an amazing author! I hope you update with another chapter soon! You're characters are very down to earth and realistic. Easy to relate to! I'm also glad that you do explaining about Australian terms vs. American or British terms. It's really helpful and makes reading a lot less confusing!

More please! lol Seriously, though, we're only 6 chapters in, and this story is already better than the first one; that's saying something, considering the fact that I love the first one. Please, please, please give us more.
