This is a VERY interesting first chapter. I'm liking how you're dropping many hints as to the nature of reality here, but not giving everything away. It's realistic, too, because all the characters know exactly how it works, and don't need it explained... It's also kept me hooked, I won't be able to stop until I know how it all works, and by then, the plot will have me too.

Well, this was well written, as far as readability goes. But I have absolutely no idea what is happening in this. Seroiusly, were you on something when you wrote this? Or were you just trying to break my brain?

This sort of feels like a video game version of the Matrix. Not that it is abad thing but I felt kind of lost as to what the setting of the story was.

Something I learned from reading this: We should try to AVOID self-teaching artificial intelligence. That is, if these are robots. If they're actual people, then I have no idea, but I would like to see more.
