Indeed, the ending was a bit of a cliche... But I like it anyway.
Okay, maybe I didn't know what to expect for the chapter... But, I'm glad Lucas is Jess-free. I was starting to hate her, she was waaaay too girly and bitchy! Fine, I have no idea what I'm saying... Bit depressed over here, so don't expect a great review. Although, I need to leave one. I love your story so much, so you're stuck with me and my crappy review.
I don't know how many time I've said this but... I love THIS Matthew York :) so cocky when he said: "don't you like what you see?" but adorable in every single way! *deep sigh*
Guess... Next chapter I'll get to read something about Lucas. I love Matthew but I miss Lucas!

If you have made Matthew gay, I will hunt you down to hell's endless pit! Seriously? I hope not, cause I got the dibs, remember? :)
Anyway, I really enjoyed this chapter. I was waiting for that contact, that conversation. She was right to give him a chance. I was smiling all the way to the end of the chapter with Bella's surpise by Matt's new appearane and demeanor, which I suspect is not new at all. It was always there, Bella just never bothered looking for it. Oh well, she is young and upset and confused, so I will give her a break for now. As long as she doesn't obssess too much on Lucas and her declaration of love for him. She needs to reassess her feelings about him. She loves the new opportunities she met with and her new invented self. Lucas happened to go with the package and she got confused and blew the whole situation out of proportion. It's cool though. It happens to the best people! LOL
I say you give more Matty to your people and moi of course. He is hot, she is a mess... maybe that is a great recipe for something nice. *wiggles eyebrows*

Awwww poor matt. isabella is throwing mixed signals all over the place. he has no idea how accurate his "hot mess" statement was. Isabella needs to get it together...and lose the ego. everytime i feel sorry for her she turns around and makes me mad. its like having a best friend!
is there any hope for an eventual isabella/matt endgame? because that would make me happy :)

You're stringing the triangle very well and we not only see Matthew in a new light but also Isabella. :) The ending of the chapter really hooked me! This is going to be fun.
I wonder if she might move out or toy with this facade of friendship with Jessica. It'll be fake but I'd want to see who's mask will fall first. Jessica or Isabella? :D

I know you asked this in a previous chapter, but I would say no, Bella SHOULD NOT sleep with Lucas, even though Jess is actually a bitch. I don't care how much Bella may have changed, the girl needs to strengthen her grasp on right and wrong and realize that two wrongs do not make a right.

I know I love Bella & Lucas but I can't stop myself from loving this Matthew & Bella chapter.
And I was absolutely right! There was more of him than meet the eye! Heck, I didn't actually believe that he can be rather fun... Or someone you can rely on. I adore this side of him, I got tired of plain boring Matthew York ;) I love this Matthew York, the one who actually have feelings and care about messy friends like Bella.
But I don't know... When he said that he wasn't interested in her that way, and when the bartender ask him if he was going to see Charlie... Hmmm.. I think... Maybe he's... Or... Maybe not.
Guess I have to wait if my suspicions are right. *sigh* I hate waiting but I know it will be worth it :)
