It's okay for your characters to have stereotypes/thoughts/behavior which you personally don't agree with. That would be awful character development if everyone's all PC and decent and "smart."
I liked that scene btw. It rings true for A LOT of girls I know. Can't blame 'em; they get it from experience with their boyfriends. My brother has a well-stocked, freakishly clean fridge. And I don't think he's gay. :D
