Wow. I can honestly say that both endings fit very well to the story; it could have gone either way and STILL would be truly memorable. However, I will stick to the happier ending. Why? Because without the happier ending, we definitely wouldn't have Effortless, now would we? =)

Wow I never expected that the original ending was supposed to be like this. Thank God you changed it! not that it's not amazing, but I really believe that thoughtless was just the beginning of Kellan's and Kiera's real story.
Thank you for not letting Kiera die and giving Kellan a new hope to truly feel good about himself.

I'm so glad you changed this ending, i have just re-read thoughtless again trying to put off effortless until it was finished but i couldnt control myself and in the last two days i have read the 22 chapters, i seem to lose all track of time when reading your books and that leads to very late nights luckily like kellan i tend to manage very well with little sleep i cant wait for the rest.

Curiously, I like this ending more than the other one. I don't know... maybe because I don't really like Kiera's character. I mean, no one can deny her love for both guys but still, she cheated on Denny and played with Kellan's emotions... I don't think she deserved either guys. /shrug. Or maybe I just couldn't see why they fell for her in the first place.
Jenny's definitely one of my favorite characters though. I like it when she told Kiera she wouldn't help hide an affair...
But whatever ending, great story :)

This was beautiful, and horribly depressing, but beautiful nonetheless. I loved it, but I wholeheartedly support your decision to change the ending, I definitely feel that the story seems right the way you left it.

Oh what a sad ending :( I couldn't believe what I was reading, It was heartbreaking to see the effects her death had on Kellan and Denny but I do support Kellan and Jenny's relationship, they were so good together and I think it's unfair to expect the lads to live lonely grieving lives. As much as I thought Kellan and Jenny were good together I am sticking with the 'new' ending as my favourite much less heartache there :) xx

Both ending are written beautifully, however I am happy that you chose to rewrite the ending, because I absolutely love the happy ending. I loved this book so much that I read it twice- I would love to see a sequel the continues after the new ending, Kiera and Kellan's relationship is a wonderful one to read about. Well Done!

Wow. That's all I can say about this. I can't say I prefer either ending. I'm glad you posted both of them. I've always preferred endings that aren't too perfect, but they're heartbreaking. I think the dual endings create a perfect balance.
