Another great chapter... The interaction between Cade and Molly is really sweet and, somehow, feels so beautiful and innocent.
One little place: "Because he knew, without a doubt, that his sister had escaped Bruce Gerald. He knew, [without a doubt], that she'd outsmarted him..." Is the second 'without a doubt' necessary? You maybe wanted the repetition, I don't know.

Ava is a clever little girl! I don't think I would have ever thought to put air holes in a box before I hid in it. I still hope she shows her face to the guys soon though ...
