WHOA, you updated! I can't believe it! I was kind of afraid you'd just given up on this story...sorry more people aren't leaving reviews; that's really lame. because this story is awesome and I love it. Still I'm really impressed with how not annoying you make Amy- I find that stories told in the first person either distance the reader from the main character, OR turn the narrator into an incredibly self-centered whiny annoying person. but I love Amy/Leonard!

This chapter was very sweet. I really enjoyed Leonard and Amy's moment of comfortable silence. True contentment and they just met each other...well, physically anyway.

it's not, is it? IS IT? omg emily can't be thinking of getting married, especially not after what happened to amy? omg
this story is fascinating. I'd have thought I'd have lost interest by now, but I guess it's your writing that just keeps drawing me in. WOW. c'est incredible (I loved the French/Dutch convo lol). Leonard and Amy are adorable together... if only finding true love were as easy as exchanging letters with a stranger! (in a non-creepy way)

You do a perfect job of capturing the fear of change, of staring anew. Like, going to college. I remember exactly how scary that felt to me, and it's so great when you meet someone who just immediately becomes your best friends. I hope this isn't one of those friendships that dies out after the initial bonding. Emily's cute.

did I mention I loved this chapter? Apparently not, because I don't seem to have reviewed it yet. Whoops. Actually I've read it twice now, because it made me SO happy!
Loved Amy's talk with the couple about death, and of course FREAKED out that she got to meet Leonard, because I wasn't expecting that until the next chapter. Which, btw, I hope comes soon!

At long last they finally meet! And what a great meeting, too. I also dig the rose idea.
It's so awesome to read a story where in you actually care about the characters and see how much they grow and progress! Well done Mrs. Dalloway's Flowers! Another excellent chapter!
And yes, Songs of Solomon 8:8-10 is absolutely hilarious! *sigh* Maybe some day I might have some towers of my own lol!

Can't wait to read the next chapter (when you're able to, of course)! - just so to read about Amy's experiences during her mission. You're doing a great job in writing this story. The perspective/thought process flows well.
And I like the quotes you put at the beginning of the chapters. :-)

Emily is so adorable in college! XD She's such a sweet person. The type of friend to be there when you needed her. I like the interaction between Amy and her, and with Tyler as well. Good pacing and characterization.
And Leonard! I love his letters, and I admire how you didn't make him sound preachy or corny. It's sad that Drew has to be possessive. Good job on not overdoing his actions. So realistic! I'm shocked to read that he never showed up during the wedding. :O

I honestly don't know what to say about this chapter. It's well written and intriguing. You did great job in conveying Amy's thought process and emotions. I admire you not having her act as the typical homophobe when reflecting on Claire. Instead, Amy tried to see what she couldn't understand, which is true for some people in the real world - impressive character development there.
Ugh, Shane McNally irked me with his advances, but that's a good thing, because I think you did very good in his characterization (a realistic portrayal.) I can relate to Amy in her reaction. I would have gotten off the bus, too. Even the part with Austin at the church party was realistic. And I cried after what happened to Cody. Seriously, the scene made me tear up. And I admire you for not making it melodramatic/sensational, even the dialogue, which didn't sound forced or preachy (at least to me.) Throughout Amy's point of view, you managed to clearly convey all the character's emotions.
The only thing is that I noticed "walked" is repeated. I can suggest replacing some of them with a synonym (just something to watch out for.)

Leonard is just too cool. I dig that he was so mellow and understanding about the whole incident of Amy not writing him anymore. And for such a ridiculous reason, too. But it's great that they're chatting again and that Amy will have someone to write her while she's away on a mission! :)

just thought I'd let you know how incredibly happy it makes me that Amy has a crush on Leonard lol.
but it TOTALLY SUCKS that she won't even be able to meet him for another freakin' year and a half! (unless he goes to holland?) hopefully they can meet soon!
