I'm into this story. I like the old-timey romance feel of it. And it may not be very realistic in the sense that Brendan could contact Katherine via MySpace, but I don't think that's a big deal. They do seem to live in a small town, and many years had passed, so they probably wouldn't have been searching for each other. Anyway, keep up the good work.
