this was a great bedtime story. :D

(also is it just me or ruelle is rolling his eyes at every stupid (selfless) decision that destin makes...XD)

Great story. Good take on "The Golden Bird".

I liked the fairy-tale feel of this. This was a light, fluffy read. Destin wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed and his brothers were psychotic idiots, but the fox definitely made this story.

How wonderful! A truly fantastic fairy tale! I quite enjoyed reading this. It was spectacular. I hope you continue to write lovely stories such as this. I wish you well on your writing journey, dear author. :)

I love the little twist you put into one of Grimm's stories. I love those two writers and I even love this one because there's BL.

Thanks for this lovely story :)

Hey. I finally actually came across this story and let me tell you, I was happy I did. The moment the name Ruelle came up, I was hooked. You do after all use the best names I have ever read. I’m being honest. You have an uncanny ability at doing that.

Interesting narrative. Different from what you usually do, but it still seems to have something that says it’s your work. Maybe the style or choice of words, or maybe the emotion behind the words, not too sure. It’s hard to find an author who can write different genres with the same style (essence?). Usually, it is drastically different and dependent on mood. Pretty good.

This is also not your usual run-of-the-mill fairytale. It’s quite unpredictable. I think we like fairytales for their predictability but I like this one because it is different. Nice. I really like that the story is told in that matter-of-fact way that fairytales usually have but there is still so much character development.

I was a bit disappointed by the end though. The narrative changed in that ‘intense’ scene. You actually ended it with a full-out make-out scene. Granted, they knew each other for much longer that the customary 2-day-let’s-go-all-the-way case, it was still a bit too fan-service-ish for me. I’m sure it’s just one opinion though. It was very well written, but I more-or-less breezed through it cuz I was feeling too wonderful from them having re-met again. That heated bit was a completely different and too abrupt feel.

Still, it’s a really good story. I’m sure I’m going to re-read it at some point. I still keep remembering Dmitri at random times, but the number of chapters usually makes me lazy. Kindof like procrastinating school work, I’ve noticed. Keep doing what you do best.

Absolutely lovely! I love your twist on this classic fairytale. In fact, it's way better than the original. ^_^ I hope you can write more like this. *hint, hint* :D

Absolutely excellent (and very enjoyable)! I've never read the original story, but now I just might.

This was a very interesting take on this fairy tale. You did a good job with re-telling the story as well as weaving in your own view of it. Nice. :)
