Oh god, this was really good. I love the long lines; usually I'm a a fan of short, concise poetry, but I felt like this worked. It actually felt like a mixture of poetry and prose and it made the poem so understandable and and relateable... ahh, I really liked this!

God, I love this poem. There's such a gentle sensuality here - the tone throughout is marvelous. Your descriptions are exquisite: "fell into soft folds of velvet," "I keep tender these dreams," and "your feet were stockinged." My favourite line, however, is: "I wonder why I was not born a man." Just...wow. Keep writing!

I love this! Just Love it!
I could really see strong parallels to Virginia Wolf's 'Orlando' which I think you were going for, but you approched the subject so modernly, and yet I could clearly detect hints of both the past, as well as the otherworldly aspect that poetry through the world can create.
Your conclusion was also great, summed everything up. Honestly, I'm in love with this, and I'm adding it to my faves. Keep up the good work.
Much love,
Juliet.
