Another excellent chapter! I hope you had a good trip. It's been so long since I've gotten a chance to review that you should be back by now.
This story is my absolute favorite on this site. Hayden never stops being intriguing. I love how he entered the scene in the office. I noticed how different his confidence is from most male love interests. It doesn't stem entirely from his looks but rather from his ability to outwit other people. It's actually much sexier than physical confidence.
His interactions with Alys are also not typical of love stories. I was as astounded as Alys when he told her not to change. Then I grinned like a maniac at his next line. He is never predictable, and it keeps the story exciting.
Another great thing about this story is that Alys interests him on more than a physical level. The physical hasn't even been mentioned yet, and that also elevates this story above other love stories. I just checked the word count, and I'm amazed at how you've kept a love story exciting without resorting to physical attraction. That's extremely impressive.

I am guilty of rarely leaving reviews :/, but this story is so DIFFERENT that I HAVE to review! I really like that it's dark and not your cliche Drama/Romance. I LOVE character-driven stories and the depths of these characters can lead to so many other stories! I love the back and forth between Hayden and Alys and the fact that it isn't just a straight love/ hate relationship and the understanding each has of one another is like nothing I've read on FP and I SO VERY APPRECIATE IT! These characters are flawed, dark, and just feel REAL to me! Awesome writing!

I completely agree with you and the character development. I hate love at first sight novels and don't think you can just fall in love and act like a total idiot infront of your crush. This feels so much better. I love it.

This story seems kind of dark to me but I really LOVE it. there seems to be a lot of feeling in your writing and it's awesome. Also I love how your taking the romance thing kind of slow. Please update soon i'm going to be checking for a new chapter like everyday.
