Agree with other reviewers. This is going to be a great story. We can see it from the beginning. It's sad if you don't update it anymore. We should cheer you then :).

I was really excited to see you had written another story! From what I've read so far, this story does seem to be very different from your previous work but that can be a good thing. Now this story is a tragedy, so I'm guessing that Rosa forms some sort of bond with him before he dies. (I'm assuming that he does die, but that might not be the case...) Anyway, I assume she was the first person who willingly touched him, apart from the doctor, and he was shocked by this. I am a happy endings type of girl *hint hint* lol but, I am open to other endings. I hope you update soon!

A longer chapter, yes! :) I felt the same way as Rosa did when she saw his loss of fingers but that was a natural reaction. I'm glad to see she didn't faint or anything major like that (which seems to happen all too often in books with women wearing gowns and corsets;)
I feel sorry for Harlock of course, but cannot wait to learn more about him, his life, their relationship, everything! Also, I'm glad that he's not so grouchy (or worse), but wouldn't have been surprised if he had been due to the awful things that have happened to him. You've developed the story very well in this chapter; the characters, the setting. Well done. I look forward to reading more! This is a fantastic story so far.:o)
