for Chroma

*has been crying throughout this whole beautiful story*
*tries not to cry after finishing it* *cries anyways*
I don't even have to words for this right now, other than saying this has impacted me. This is one of those things you read that, may not earn the title of 'favorite' but you still carry it in the back of your mind wherever you go. Like shit. God.
I don't know if it's your writing abilities, or my empathy or maybe both, but damn. I've never been abused or lost someone I loved like that or been in a situation even remotely close to either Kon or Nate's but reading this I just felt...like I really knew the pain they felt. Like it was my own pain to feel. Shit I don't even know what I'm saying actually haa.
But okay what I'm trying to say is that this is one of the best stories I've ever read and I hope to see it published one day.
10/10 gonna recommend to literally anyone and everyone.

*groans* the ending is ridiculous. I mean if you were going to say it'll be a happy ending, you could've simply just wrote the happy ending down. Yes I like your story but come on! A little bit of happiness in this overall glum could've been nice.
Still, it was a nice read. :)
Good luck with life.

Oh. My. God. This is so beautiful! And hell, it's too nostalgic! You, dear writer, had brought me to tears with those crazy, emotionally driven flash backs. Damn, I think I love Chris. Why is it that good people who are infectiously good at heart die! :')
Man, you're beautiful at writing.

This is one of the best stories i've ever had the honor of reading. Usually i tend to not get through a story but i did for this and i dont regret it. It made me cry and laugh and touched my heart and soul. This burst of true reality that penetrates the fog of fanstasy without being overbearing or harsh i undoubtedly will not forget as hard as i may. Even now i re-read it and cry and laugh and rant to my sister about the story. Awesome story. Your a true write.

Omigod ! It reads and feels like the last chapter did?! Which feels right and fitting to me tbqh even if I was all sigh of course they weren't together because there were much bigger things. Kon and Nate always were a bit... Nebulous ? Chroma makes me want to write essays about things and feelings that can't really be put into words . Will login and like leave a proper review later:)

Well they're both pretty screwed up. I would say there would bumps along the way.

Hi there, just finished this awesome story. Really enjoyed their story and even if it did end up being a bitter sweet ending I get the feeling they will see each other again.

"There's a thin line between love and hate."

I hate how much I love you and this story and I love how much I hate that it's over. This story was down right brilliant. It was written in such a way that some things could only be understood emotionally, and not even a 5 year old (with all their candid pride) would dare to put it into context.
And I enjoyed every minute of it.
Thank you for this sweet sweet thang.

That's sad what happened to her boyfriend?

I loved it! I thought it was perfect, considering the emotional scars they have. It probably wouldn't be smooth sailing for them right away. I love how they were still drawn to each other though, and that they still shared secrets. Of course, I'm thrilled about your note at the end, but I understand why you wouldn't want to write that story. There was so much drama in Chroma, and I'm not sure what you would fill the sequel with after they get together for good. You could, if you are ever inspired, write about this in between time. Basically expand on this oneshot.

I won't be greedy though. I'm thrilled to unexpectedly get more of the story, and I am so excited about this update. I'm also glad to know that you seem to be doing well. I'll definitely buy this book if it's published. My advice is to leave up the first chapter as is for the time stamp proving when you first began writing it. Also for nostalgia's sake. Just write removed on the description so people won't get upset that the rest of the story is gone. I hope I get a chance to reread the whole thing before you remove it, because it really is one of the best on this site.

I just went back and looked at the date. Wow, 2010! You should feel proud that you completed it. There are so many abandoned stories, and I'm so glad this memorable story isn't one of them. Part of me wants to tell you not to change it, but I'm also curious about what is going to be different in the story.

I thought I was dreaming when I first saw this update alert.

I'm not gonna lie, I didn't read the one-shot after you gave us the "It's not a happy story" warning. However, I DID read the end where you said they get together after a year or so! That absolutely made my day. I was so convinced at the end of Chroma that it was the end for Kon and Nate. They just fit so well that I couldn't fathom them finding someone else in their lives. Kon doesn't seem the type to keep in touch with people and it really seemed like "goodbye," so I had really given up on anything happening there.

I'm glad you said this is a coming of age story for Kon, because that didn't even cross my mind. I was so focused on the Romance and loss of Chris, that it didn't really hit me that family was the main focus. I had considered it a secondary focus acting more as a support for the Romance - Romance that I waited ages for and then happened/ended so abruptly, by the way!

Thank you for this story. It was beautiful.

I just stayed up 6 hours reading this whole story and I have to get up in 2. THAT'S how amazing this story was.

It's like, I read this awesomesauce story of yours once, and then time passes and days go by and I can't stop thinking-can't stop comparing every story I read with Chroma. So I lose interest in that story, no matter that it's an entirely different genre or whatever, and I keep finding myself reading this story again and again and again. I'm practically an expert on it now, honest.
But really. You have done such an awesome job with Chroma and Nate sounds positively delicious and I love Kon so much! It's the details and that raw feelings thing that gets me going all, "This is so gooooooooooood." You, don't stop writing. Ever.
I'll go read your other stories.

This is probably like bad time for constructive criticism but you said at the start of this chapter that there was something you didn't like about it and I wasnt looking for something I swear it just kinda appeared for me and you probably know it already but shhh the thing that bugged me here is that she was so happy happy smiles with Shaun even though she's been so shut off it kind of felt like it was just a sudden change rather than a gradual one

But aside from that plz teach me how to write and also I realise this is like ages late for a review and I'm sorry but to be fair I would have reviewed sooner and begged for updates waaaay earlier if I knew you wrote and also if I knew this story existed earlier :) much love from your neighbour hood taxi driver

Hullooo I'm glad you linked me this but now I feel like my writing is super juvenile in comparison and I'm scared of reading anything past the first draft hahahaha that said, this is amazing! I wish I had more then the 20 minutes before bed and after I wake up to read, but I'll be slow progress until I have more spare time. Xoxo your friendly neighbourhood taxi lady 3
