As always amazing chapter! I especially loved the last paragraph as its great to see Nate and Kon bonding. :D
So finally Leslie finds out, huh? I feel sorry for her but I'm still on Team Max... Does that make me a horrible person? :D
I'm fairly certain you can find a much better Beta than me but if you can't find anyone I would be honored to be a last resort ;)
Update soon and spare us all the suffering you cause us by making us wait a second more than necessary! :D

The first scene was hilarious; it gave us quite an insight on Jess and Nate's relationship. And, Shaun? Oh, he's such a cool dad! Teasing Jess like that, and being happpyy at Kon's acceptance. Really, he's a star.
Oh, and Chris returrrnnnss! :D wow, Nate is so much more perceptive than i gave him credit for! Really, he takes it all into stride, even when Kon asks him such uncomfortable questions about his parents!
Oh, Leslie. Poor you,. I do feel for you :( Max, how can you be such a bitch? What happened to chicks before dicks? Reallyyy. I'm on Leslie's side for this. Happiness or no happiness, there are some lines that u shouldn't cross with ur best friends. And that includes going after the guy ur best friend TOLD u she likes. And Keaton, why r u sooo oblivious?
The laughing scene was classic! Really, that can be counted as a Nate-Kon moment, can't it? :p

Okay so i am currently reading three books online that other everyday people have written, and a book that has already been published by rick riordan. I have not been reading any of them for a while because i have been so caught up in this story, and every time i think in my head that i need to finish rick riordans book soon so i can take it back to the library, i know i would much rather read this. 5 stars. 2 enthusiastic thumbs up. Haha :) great story!

This is absolutely awesome.
It's so awesome that I've spent all afternoon reading it instead of doing an assignment haha.
But seriously, it's been the most intriguing fic I've read for awhile.
I agree with mailey (?), this should have a lot more reviews. All of the characters are really interesting and unique.
And the whole 'people-watching' idea is ingenious.
You've made me pay attention to body language ...etc more, I want to be able to 'read' people now ;)
But yeah, looking forward to the next chapter.

Beautiful.
Suggestion though, make Jess’ speaking all in italics. It would be easier to follow that way. I had to read the first section step by step, mentally telling myself who was saying what, because the first time I read it, I thought that Nate called Jess a little bitch. I was like… wait a minute. That’s not right.
French… Are you going to finish the French project? Did I tell you my suggestion? If I did, then I’m going to repeat myself. I think this was what I was going to say. Or what I did say. Idk. I was going to suggest that you have Sanders say something like ‘I knew you would do well’ as a slip when Kon tells him that she got a good grade or something like that. Then have her strong-hand him into explaining what he meant.
Part of me thinks that I already suggested something, but it was different than that. Oh well.
“Nate pointed to the TV. "Die Hard," he said, as if it explained the universe.” I saw this whole scene play out like a movie, but this specific part was so clear. I knew exactly what his facial expression was in that moment, only because I feel the same about certain shows and movies.
I LOVED it when Shaun teased Jess. I could see it. But you know what’s totally not cool? The fact that whenever I think of Shaun, I think of two things. One, an ex of mine who spells his name the same. Big mistake. And two, Shaun Hennessey, or whatever from Grounded for Life. Look him up, and that’ll show you who I see whenever Shaun is in the picture. I’m very aware that it is probably nothing like Shaun looks in your head. But that’s what I’m stuck with.
Anyway, his character in Grounded for Life is totally the kind of person that would tease Jess. So it fit really well for me :)
If UC had a Chroma campus, I’d apply right now!
Now, forgive me if I’m a really bad fan, but I don’t remember Nate being told about Chris. Is it just that he’s super perceptive, or is it that she told him and I forgot? I really need to re-read this entire story.
And when you say “And then he was gone” at the end of that little section, do you mean physically, or that he checked out?
The scene on the bleachers is completely awesome. I feel so bad for Leslie.
I want to make that scene into a short film, because I feel like my school has the perfect setting for it. But even though I have friends that act… none of them are either good enough, or pretty enough to play any of them.

I love that Nate was laughing, and Konstantine didn’t know what it was at first :)
That scene was adorable. I can only imagine what Jess was thinking, seeing both Kon and Nate laughing at the same time. That would freak me out.

Even when I’m not sick, I’ll take it if I have an extremely bad day and I just want to go to sleep and forget about it. Nyquil or Allergy medicine. But since you are actually sick, Nyquil would be a better choice for you.

This story is so good. I just went back and completely re-read it again, and just... Wow.
In some parts you made me cry, and some parts were really happy. You should be proud that you made me cry, because I don't cry easily.
