hmm...had quite a few things going, feel sorry for poor Leslie.
It was on the line for me don't know if I liked it or not but I did like the confrontation.

Loooved the chapter (well I love all of them, so yeah :p). And oh how I like how the relationship between Kon and Nate is slowly improving :3
Also (and I can't belive I haven't written about in my previous comments -.-) I love you for using Something Corporate's Konstantine as an inspiration or something for this story. SC is just so amazing and Andrew McMahon is a genius. I used to listen to them a looot and now thanks to this story I redownloaded their albums and I just can't believe I even stopped listening to them at some point... And suprise, surprise Konstantine is my favourite song by them. It's just so... full of emotion and simply perfect.
You've done sooo well with bringing the song into this story. Like the 11:11 part, and "and Konstantine is walking down the stairs. Doesn't she look good standing in her underwear?" part was so pefect *o* and "it's to Jimmy Eat World and those nights in my car" and everything else.
Uh, another annoyingly long comment, but I'm just completely and helplessly in love with this story.

Do you know how hard it is to find internet in the middle of no where? Let me tell you, i drove for like 5 miles to the nearest McDonald's cafe so i can get free wifi. (I'm camping xD)But, it was worth it since this chapter made me smile so much3. I think the childish arguing between Nate/Jess and even the mild banter of Chris/Konstantine made as an awesome foreshadowing for the chapter. (And if that's what you weren't doing, I'm going all English teacher and over-anaylize every thing :D) I'm still in love with Nate and are stDo you know how hard it is to find internet in the middle of no where? Haha, so I'm reviewing... because you kept telling me to, every time I finished a chapter.
Quick thing.
After you're done with a chapter, just going back to look for things like "noone" instead of "no one" or "two" instead of "too" would help, as I actually read your story because of your Beta call! :D
Also... Great story line. It's unique, and you have quite a way to go before Nate and Kon finally like each other. That means I have some time before the story ends.
I thought at the beginning that you might have exaggerated her people watching abilities, more than anything, but I think it's fine now. It's... important for her to be able to do that. She's one of those people and I'm glad you didn't take my untold advice, because that might just have ruined her character.

i just stumbled upon this story through someone's favorites, and i absolutely love it. i can't believe you haven't gotten more reviews for it - probably because we readers tend to be lazy things. there weren't too many typos - nothing that majorly distracted from the story. keep up the good work; i can't wait to read the next chapter, so please don't keep us waiting too long :)

I just read Shawnden's review. It was great. I mean, she really gets ur story and I would love to be able to comment like that. But i can never get the words out right (:
It's no problem, I'm glad u thought my review actually meant something. But I mean it. Kon and Nate aren't the sort of people who just throw themselves into a relationship, they have their own issues, and frankly I don't think either of them will be able to get their stuff together soon. Matters of the heart require time, and all that jazz, eh?
I'm so so so curious about Chase n Chelsea! I wonder what happened with Chris, and is there really some truth to what Kon said to Chase? About his and Chelsea's relationship?
Plus, I never thought Kon would say something like that to anyone.
( Oh, and in response to ur reply to my review to the previous chapter: I meant that I didn't quite get why Kon loves Chris. Was it because he was her silver lining in her hellhole of a life? Or something else? And yeah, Chris wasn't perfect, I get that, thank youu :p )

I'm intrigued about Chelsea. I feel like we saw a darker side of Konstantine in this chapter as well. Swearing up and down, threatening people, taunting an old enemy about a past grievance. Its interesting to see this other side of her, although I can totally see how stress can cause her to break a little.
I'm glad her and Nate progressed a little as well, although I stand by what I said x amount of chapters ago about loving the fact that this story is more than just a high school romance.
A tiny critique: I feel like Chase is a Convenient Plot Device, but only because he's only just been introduced in chapter 21 and hasn't really asserted himself as anything other than an asshole.
Overall, I did enjoy this chapter. I'd love to see more of Chris, though (a la, his appearances in the living room), if its in the cards. Thanks for the update!

So... Chase is a jerkkk. I don't know how I feel about Chris, but I know Chase should not be singing that song. You are a fantastic writer, and I really liked the ending scene. Kon and Nate finally had a bit of a moment. (: Loved it, and update soon! (:

And i cannot believe that he actually tried that in public! In a school parking lot! Thank god, Nate was around to save Kon. I wonder if Chase has pulled something like that before?
