It was a lot of fun reading this chapter. I adore Ava's quirkiness and her witty internal dialogue. I must admit that I have been one of the people who actually tried to keep an insult bank. Most of the time I forget them at crucial moments. -_-
Lucas for whatever reason, appears as such an attractive character. I really love the good looking, cold characters so it was a given that I'd like him, but how you've characterised him makes him so much more likeable.
Oh, and I did literally laugh out loud at the final scene. ^_^

Good story, good beginning. :) I would watch for a few grammatical errors and that sometimes the sentences are choppy, but good beginning never-the-less. Would love a few more details about the character's... well, character (lol).

Ah, this should be fun! Loved how, in the first chapter, Ava mentioned the amazing price of her scarf and gloves. It really gave her some character. Lucas is the typical asshole-ish man that I just KNOW I'm going to end up falling in love with. ('Godsend' was quite clever! XD )
Lookin' forward to seeing these two a bit more. :)
