I'm no poet, but it's poems like this that make me wish I was :). I love the contrast of emotions from the beginning and the end. The end was encouraging and the metaphor is wonderful. I really do respond to this poem personally. It's absolutely stunning.

Nice repetition. I'm finding that I like that element more an more. Starting over is a hard thing to do. Taking this in a literal way, that would take an infinite amount of will power to do. To be dropped by anyone is hard, and makes it difficult to restart. It flows, which is always good! Keep up the good work!
