Oh wow, I wasn't expecting that. I like where you've taken this chapter, It should be interesting to see how this effects them. I loved that he got her converse, lol. What a thoughtful thing to do, I'm impressed that he really was listening and even more so that he acknowledged something was off with her on the phone.
Then he surprised her with showing up early which I thought was very sweet and even more dramatic considering what it led to. I also like how you had Logan commenting about her relationship with Parker and how she's conflicted with it. She's such a complex character, I'm confused as to what she's really feeling sometimes. Amazing work, keep it up and I hope you're feeling better. ;)

I really don't review your stuff enough, but just know that I enjoy every chapter. I'm going to turn over a new leaf (maybe) and become a better reviewer. :)
This will probably sound dumb, but I really like how tasteful your sex scenes are. I normally steer clear of anything rated 'M', as I'm just not comfortable with the content. Your stories, though, don't really cross the 'smut' line, and the sex is only a minor part of the story (though the repercussions aren't always minor...!). THANK YOU for being tasteful! If I wanted to read smut, I'd buy a trashy Harlequin. Your stuff is so much better :)

This chapter shattered my vision of Logan. I had always pictured her as a very strong, stubborn, independent girl who could hold her own. Yet at the end of this chapter, she just…deflates. I get that Lindsey is a witch, but I would have thought Logan could handle her. Then, to call Parker and almost cry? To me, that made it seem like Logan couldn’t handle Lindsey at all, and needed Parker to fix it.
Hopefully I’ll see more of the Logan I always pictured in the next chapter?

Okay, let’s see here. Logan finds herself unexpectedly, but totally into Parker. Lindsey very nearly has her claws into Parker. Lane might secretly also harbor something for Parker. Meanwhile Deidre is messing around with second thoughts about Parker. Parker is far more into Logan than he initially let on. Parker seems to not know how to keep it casual with Lindsey and still not give her the wrong message. Parker also seems to be escorting trouble where Lane and Deidre are concerned, by not yet emphatically saying no.
So, in summation: Logan likes Parker, Deidre thinks she’s worthy of Parker, Lane might like Parker, Lindsey is chasing after Parker, Logan thinks that Parker has something going on with Evianne and Parker? I think he slightly likes Logan…er…at least I think he does.
We did read what he told Lindsey to get her off his back, but I’m not entirely clear on Parker’s side of the story, yet. I know you mentioned wanting to maintain the narrative perspective largely from the female’s side this time around, but I’m hoping that a little more of Parker’s thoughts on those matters might make things just a bit more clear. To someone completely on the outside, this situation does NOT look good for Parker, especially because he’s making circles around three, maybe four, girls at a time.
As for our diminutive heroine and her crazy world right now, it’s refreshing, if not wholly admirable, to read her mindset on finding her parents. But it does make me wonder how great of an emotional burden is she setting herself up for if things don’t work out for her. Will she actually be able to cope as well as she claims?
One thing I am worried about still though is her growing attachment to Parker. She seems to be loosing her independent streak because she’s falling for him too quickly. He may have spent a day of recovery with her, but she still knows nothing about him, and she’s second guessing herself as a result. I really hope this doesn’t come off as too critical, but I would hope that Logan takes a stand with Parker about the Lindsey’s attitude, at the very least. Parker did fuel Lindsey against Logan early on, and then neglected to clarify with Lindsey that he had changed his stance and was now making out with said reporter. So Lindsey is still carrying around her possessive/bitter tendencies and taking them out on the person who doesn’t deserve them. Technically, Parker was the first one to make a move on her, so he can’t play passive-aggressive all the time.
Eh, I’m sure you’ve already got this all figured out anyway!
What I’m absolutely loving though is your descriptions of the tour, and how much fun everyone seems to be having. I’m definitely enjoying the crazy antics, the silliness, and the lighthearted mood created when you describe how these guys unwind. And goodness, do you know how to create the most outstanding supporting cast or what? Mark and Amy are individually great, perfect together, and their mutual support of Logan is so respectable. Hmm, also wondering if Parker’s package’s perhaps purple? Ha, can’t wait to see how you get Parker out of this complicated mess!
Finally and MOST importantly, was Patrick Kane as hot in person as he is on TV?
