Sweet and cute. I love it.
From what I can infer from the chapter, Kingsley is a con artist and has kidnapped the girl that narrates the story, so that obviously plays a big part in the first six weeks.
If I was kidnapped, I would be pretty angry, and I would hate Kingsley's guts, but then have conflicting emotions because he is good-looking. Since it seemed that Kingsley disliked the girl in the beginning, I'm guessing that he has some issues with rich people. (Perhaps when he was younger, a rich person did something to him and his family.)
Since the girl is rich, she obviously has a father that is hiring people to find her.
Don't forget conflict. (Hint: Kingsley's groupies, etc)
