OH and the risks i take just to read your stuff; i was in the middle of nowhere and all i had was my dad's blackberry. soo bored, i started re-reading Best of You and Rapture. i fell asleep and left the browser on one of the naughty bits in Rapture and today my dad was extremely awkward and he asked me about why I was reading about some guy getting fucked.
Real exciting to have to explain. I tried to seem normal like 'oh, uh. someone just uh.. posted it.' He didn't seem to be convinced.
Anyway, please update more often! I love your stuff!

Well, all I can say is that your story always makes me happy.
Pfft...that's not All I can say...This time I was noticing little details of how awesome your writing is. Like that whole bit of describing what Mike was cooking for Christmas- it was very beautifully written and not at all boring (as sometimes descriptions like that can get).
So yeah...keep up the good work. I won't berate you for the slow updates because I'm worse...life gets in the way unfortunately. I prefer it if you write when you can, so you can produce quality writing...not be rushed you know.

Awesome would be an understatement. I've been hooked on this and almost didn't want to let it go to sleep last night. I even sneaked a chapter at work :D
I'm bad. Really bad.
Sorry to hear you're running out of steam, but this is great and I'll be eagerly awaiting further installments ;)
If you're looking for some action to reel you forward, you could always have Seth pop up to fuck things up, try to separate them (and fail miserably; I'd love to see Elijah give him a piece of his mind - or fist). Maybe he'd made a copy of that key while he had it? That would be sneaky indeed.
That's as far as I can plot. I'm stuck with my story too ;_; or more than you, since it's not half this awesome.

Wow, that was just.. wow. Only you could have that much in one chapter and not have it be too much.
And I honestly love the fact that there wasn't really hardcore smut or anything (coming from me, that's pretty nuts), and that Mike was tentative as you say, because to me that just makes things seem that much more real. It makes it more real, and makes the characters that much more real. Just like how at the beginning you'd mentioned that things had become more infrequent sexually, though the need to be around each other only grew. That was just really real too, and really wonderful. :) Awesome job, love. Definitely worth having to wait for the next chapter. Good luck taming that muse !
