To put it simply, I really love this story. I read all fourteen chapters in like two hours and I love your characters. I think that you've got a fantastic story line going here, but I think you're going a bit too slow. Some of the things you include in the story seem irrelevant and the relationship between Correy and Claire is kind of boring...add some spice!

Hi, so far, the beginning is great enough to show Claire's craving for some closure and the somewhat uncanny way having one. I can't help but to remember your previous story "Esther Art." It has some similarities with this one like the artist and the therapist...
I can't wait seeing how this story will go. And by the atmosphere around story, I suspect that something dark will happen, (or it happened?).
And one last thing, you have just mentioned that you are not really into dark-type stories. I suggest that don't put so much highlights in the very dark scenes (I mean the actions) but make them relevant in the story since you can't make it that 'exploding' when the flow goes there. Of course, every writer has its own style of writing their stories so kudos to you.

I loved it. I adored the way you had the character describe the cemetary at the beginning. And how during the entire conversation she kept feeling awkward and guilty. I love it, it leaves you hanging on two points. Whether we will ever get to know what happened to Corry and her part in it and whether or not her relationship with Kain will move along.
