It was a bit jumpy in that it was hard to follow your thread of thought in that it was a bit gordian. I'm left wondering who the Pair are, perhaps pain and pleasure, but perhaps not. I'm also wondering what exactly the upshot of the whole thing was. It was fairly well written but for the life of me I can't see WHY it was written. Self-harm by proxy? Self-proxy by harm? Practice?
