Whew! This is powerful! The third stanza hooks me as a reader to see the moths through the narrator's eyes, incredibly dark. The second section allows us to experience the narrator's point of view- and it is unsettling. Loved the line "I reek of change." Wasn't sure I understood one line here though- "suffer my excuses at the hold."
The third section rips by so quickly (beautifully written)- leaving me to ponder the metaphor of the moth. The madness on the wings makes me wonder if the moths are the symbol of disagreement between others or a more internal metaphor. Something that makes me think is appreciated. I can see I'll need to return to it.
