Is that it? I like it, but I wish there was more. There is no deeper meaning that I can find, but I did enjoy the themes of identity and mortality. More than anything else, this short story is an intriguing and somewhat realistic glance into the future.

Dune! Really. I liked the first two or three books, but after that it felt repetitive. What do you think; what will Ethan think?
I'm interested to see the conflicts between Old Ethan and the personality that New Ethan is developing. What's the deja vu?
I'd like to suggest making the beginning more striking, more dramatic. Shorter sentences, maybe break up the paragraphs in different places...if you'd like to see what I would do with it, let me know and I'll send it in a private message.

Great start! I love the way you write, it's so easy to follow. I really wonder what will happen to Ethan and if he'll ever remember. Please do continue!
