I love this! I love their relationship and how he told her he loved her. And I loved all of the technical photography stuff even though I know nothing about it :) Very charming story.

Aww that was adorable! Elijah sounds like a cutie. Especially because he can dance the Thriller dance. =]
And I'm happy to have learned about old-fashioned photography! Haha I never knew any of that stuff since the only camera I use is a crappy digital one. I'm not a photographer of any sort.
Anyways. Great oneshot!

Holy mother.
This bought me back to the days in year 9 where I took photography for a year - with some old old SLRs and then developing it in the darkroom :)
Elijah is such a cutie. Maybe the ending was too fast (or I ended up reading really fast) but so so cute!

Aw! Totally loved the story! I like how he just admitted he loved her and was SO SURE (minus the slight break of panic when she didnt respond right away) that she loved him back! My best friend loves photography, so I know some of the steps..and she also loves the non digital camera's but hates developing the film! Lol. I was totally thinking of her when I read this and I def. have a new understanding for the time it takes (I've had to listen to endless rants about taking photos one way or another) to get photos developed.

LOL. I loved the ending...haha! And the relationship between Elijah and Lucy. It's so quirky, it's great! :D Loved it. Especially the darkroom descriptions and all.

This was so adorable. I kept waiting for someone to confess, I'm kind of glad it was Elijah.
I love that you referenced Mystery Science Theater.
Your writing style is so easy to read, and the entire story flowed so well. There were a few words that needed to be changed, but overall it was amazingly well written.
Great work with your character development too. I felt like I actually knew Lucy and Elijah, and you really didn't tell us all that much, but their interactions and the small things they did really helped paint a much bigger picture.

aw - this was wonderful! beautifully written; loved the plot. loved the characterization. it was absolutely amazing! and - i learned a little about cameras too. great job! :)
p.s. my best friend loves cameras too. especially film. she says they're something cool about waiting for the pictures to develop to see if you really got a good shot.

This story just left me speechless.
You know, to be honest, I didn't get all the photography stuff you mentioned in the story, but the part where Lucy finds out that Elijah's looking down at her in their picture together? It made me smile cheesily and say "Awwe". And I'm not a person who usually does that.
This is what true love really is

Aww man, that was so cute! I loved it, especially since I myself am a photographer. I wish I knew how to do all that dark room stuff like Lucy (love that name, by the way), but I'm lame and have a digital. But still - I felt like I could fully appreciate this because I somewhat knew what she was talking about, haha.
Elijah is adorable. I loved that last scene! Well, I loved everything about it, really. It was just awesome. (: Good job!

That was really cute, and really well written. It made me want to go into the photography business, lol! I was hooked from the beginning and wasn't disappointed at all. I was a little hesitant to read it (like I am with all FP stories), but this exceeded my expectations.

loveloveloveLOVE! i love when authors are able to incorporate into their writing something they obviously know a whole lot about; it just sets them apart from everyone else. so yeah. the whole vintage camera/photography thing was great. i mean, the last scene with the family and the man back from war could have been a story in itself. not gonna lie, the ending was the best part. very touching. your talent really shines through in this piece, although i wish we got to see a little more about lucy and her feelings - she seemed at times more of a narrator instead of a character with feelings. other than that, wonderful work and keep writing!
