Haha, cute poem. It's about a mildly dark subject, but you keep it lighthearted throughout the piece. I think the rhyming really helps with that because it gives it a sing-songy feel.

Ha ha! Balloon sword in hand, you valiantly tickle the humour in even the most sullen of people! A nice spin on the ever-present writer's block poem. Those will never become tiring.
