I loved this! The first story was ok, but something about the characters in this story just seemed to mesh better for me. I do feel like the ending was sort of sudden. I assume we dont know more about the human coalition and their plan until the next story; i feel like there's a lot more of a plot with that - but maybe not.
I appreciate the character development in BOTH Georgia and Ken - I feel like there were clear moments of abuse and resentment; and there were real moments where they were both rrally trying and sometimes failing. It felt very genuine - and in these circumstances, when Georgia was told to stop just rolling over and taking it, I feel like that was such an empowering moment, rather than victim blaming. I felt you were really considerate and careful with writing this, and I can tell you it made all the difference.
Can't wait to read your other works!

To be frank, i really am disappointed as to how the storiy turned out. We keep seeing Georgia push and pull from Ken and after so many times of "i've had enough" etc, she still gives in. It could just be me not liking a character who seems to be so weak-willed.
However, there are still so many plot holes and after Ken and Pete killed the human and ate him, i felt it just went downhill from there. Everything from that point like the introduction of the Coalition and Alex's involvement with them felt very rushed and just seemed like you wanted to turn Alex into a bad guy so that Georgia and Ken get their twisted "happily ever after".
I read Provenance I and Big Apple I and expected a lot more from this installment, which sadly didn't turn out to be of much enjoyment

This ending sucks. Georgia is in denial about Kenneth. He is an abusive asshole. Her mother can see the reality but she is in a lot of denial. I have worked with abuse victims and they all give up their dreams and life to appease their abusers. Its stolkholm syndrome and conditioning the victim to be more docile. Kind of make me sick.

I get where Phoebe is coming from, objectively. However for her to suggest that Georoga sacrifice her happiness so that they don't have to deal with a volatile Kenneth makes her a shitty friend.
Sure Georgia's actions aren't exactly the best, but you have to understand where she's coming from. She was abused by the man. She's terrified of him and his controlling tendencies- there is a difference between possessive and controlling.

Although i reckon you're a pretty good writer (glad to see you back :D), I've got to agree with Snow Wolf Alpha- Ashton is a bastard. Georgia was probably my favourite character as she had the guts to walk away from an abusive relationship, mate or otherwise. Her so called friends gave her crap about and Ashton treated her like she was not good enough for Kenneth. Personally I was damn happy that she left Ken as he was NOT healthy for her. No one should have to walk on eggshells with the one they love.
But no point in crying over spilt milk so all I can hope is that we'll see more of Kenneth's development in terms of his anger management.
Glad to see you back!

This is a great start to their story. I can't wait to read their turmoil. As an author, have you noticed the amount of abuse/romance that young writers are using in paranormal stories. I was reading some on wattpad where teen girls are submissive to various types of abuse and these stories are written by teen authors.

I still seriously dislike ken but at least he is trying to get better. The ending didn't feel like an ending at all. Maybe Cuz I didn't get the closure I wanted. Im looking forward to your new stories as always.

How does anyone think that dating her is going to be a good idea? And how can she be so stupid? AHHHH

Maybe an epilogue of the her pregnancy and birth of their children. I'd love to know what kind of father Kenneth would be and how Georgia's mother would handle it.

I guess I am OK with the ending...? Well, because Kenneth's change is not going to happen overnight so, I'd rather you end it like this where Kenneth is seen as trying and slowly succeeding in controlling his anger issues rather than all of a sudden Kenneth is a changed, good man. Not realistic!
I also think it would grow tedious if you do drag on about Georgia warming up to him, fully trusting him again, and Kenneth's recovery. They're back together and Georgia seems to have accepted Kenneth and that he is slowly but, surely changing for her. It won't happen overnight but, it's happening. Though, I think you definitely need that epilogue to seal the deal that Kenneth has fully mastered his anger.
Also, you did leave that loose end...you know, the humans that were looking for the guy that Kenneth disposed of?

Glad you're back, but...
I'm sorry to say the Provenance stories have not remained in my good grace's as I've become an adult. Both stories feel like women trying to make the best of abusive relationships. Kenneth is slightly more compelling due to his loyalty being divided as well as his upbringing, but the story often feels like it's excusing his behaviour because of it. I side with Georgia's parents on this though I don't really agree with their methods.
I can't sugarcoat this. Ashland is character I wish was dead. He isn't likeable in the slightest. He spends his story as an entitled asshole who never seems to consider any else's feelings, much less Marilein's. He makes their entire relationship all about him. We see him lie, change her against her will, treat her like property and never recieve any consecquences for it. By the end, he gets everything he wants and she has to compromise. Not to mention cutting Georgia off from Marilein during the sequel. It's sickening. This is the character we're supposed to want to get together with the main heroine. I was on Marilein's side until she was changed, giving her a wolf that seemed to even further bully her out of her freewill. I honestly didn't care about him changing for the better, which he didn't, I just wanted him gone.
I still want to follow you because I think you're a good writer, but please no more abusive wolves. It's not romantic. Sorry I didn't mean to sound this harsh.

How can this be the end?
There are still so many loose ends left... Like the humans who want to kill Georgia and her ex? What about them?
