What's with the attitude? Seriously get over yourself! I have a pretty vivid imagination or I would not even be on this site! I was planning to take this story seriously but after that prolouge I cannot support an author who will not support thier readers. If you do not treat your readers with respect how can you expect them to take you seriously? With that attitude you will never get a book published. I find it hard to belive this story is as good as you say, and even if it is try being considerate and humble for a change, you will get much better results.

I know that you're trying to create an enticing hook...but, it doesn't help to insult your readers. Especially on the third sentence of Chapter 1/the "Prologue"/oddly placed author's note.
