You should write for Harlequin, it's definitely up your alley.

I like that they're starting over, but I won't lie, I love reading their banter. And Kyler and Peyton are cute together :)

so they have a truce now. it's definitely evident that they'll have more disagreements. just saying that doesn't mean their personalities aren't going to clash. that's what makes it interesting though. it would get boring fast if they got along all the time. their arguments are amusing.

I love the storyline on this story, but sometimes I feel like Texas is misrepresented in the approach of where they are located. San Antonio is actually a bustling city and you really don't get the deep Southern house/ranch/small community until about an hour outside of San Antonio and it wouldn't be called San Antonio anymore, it would be something like Pleasanton...but farther out than that, like in between San Antonio and Corpus Christi. Also, it would probably be more realistic if the brother went to UT instead of Texas A&M, since he seems to be down for weekends...and Texas A&M would be like five hours from where I assume this ranch would be located, while UT would only be about two. ((Sorry UT student here. :P And my bf goes to UTSA and even he can't make the two hour trip up every single weekend.)) Maybe I'm just a little defensive of Texas is all. I feel like everyone gets us wrong in thinking we're all hick and ride horses everywhere. ahahahahahha :)) I mean I lived in Corpus, which is two hours south of San An, and now I moved up to Austin and truthfully the only time I've ever seen a community like what you're talking about is in the empty spaces of Texas in between large cities. Just thought I'd support the Texan side of this story! :) Love that you incorporated it, but it would help if you did a little research on the area and got a little more specific. It would lend a bunch of credibility and even spark some interest in the details of the story. :)

They're both very ... fiery characters. Will make for an interesting read. Can't wait to see what kind of trouble they'll get up to lol.

It seems kind of...strange (or even kind of rude?) that you automatically assume cowboys say "ain't" and don't finish the "ing" words. It seems like a stereotype-buff cowboys with Southern accents. They shouldn't have to be portrayed like that. Other than that, I really like this story!
