I have fallen in love with both James and Turkish! I also love Turkish's name, there's so much personality there.
I get both angles here... to be honest, I think James was more in the right this time... Turkish shouldn't be taking photo's (esp quarter-naked-and-in-bed-ones) without asking. The fact that he then got them shown to James' boss is pretty bad. Fair enough, it was a mistake, and he was sorry, but he didn't really appreciate how sensitive James is. I think he could have apologised better.
On the other side, James should learn to be forgiving. Turkish did confess that he had messed up. Turkish was obviously sorry. For James to make a sweeping statement that he couldn't date him (unless he really meant it which he prob didn't) was a bit cruel. He does need to open up to Turkish, he needs to accept him for who he is.
It was so sad because they were so lovely together beforehand. And James lashed out because he was hurt frightened confused and upset. I think Turkish needs to be a bigger man and be more gentle to him. Taking pictures of him without his consent is exactly the wrong thing to do to someone as sensitive as James. Even if he had, he should have told James when he woke, certainly not have forgotton to remove the pictures from his portfolio.
I hope they make up soon. They are so beautiful together!

Ohh this is such a great story! You definitely deserve more reviews than the ones you have. I have been reading this story in adultfanfiction since seven chapters ago but I haven't left you a review because I'm always having problems with that site. I'm really glad that I found you here in fpress so I can finally review your awesome story. I really love your characters, they are so real and human. I'm glad that Yusef/Turkish has finally stand for himself... I think that they need that in order to make James understand that he likes him and has to let go his insecurities. Hope to read the next chapter soon! And sorry for any error in my grammar XD

Way to rip the carpet out from underneath, jeez. Two days ago they were fine, and now I read they've broken up? But of course, there'd be no story if there wasn't some D.R.A.M.A. Regardless, this chapter was really well written. I'm particularly enjoying the splicing of short scenes; it meshes wonderfully, in my opinion.

This is my first review D: Because I bookmarked this story a while ago then kinda lost track of it -_- rediscovered it and read all 16 chapters today! Woot! So this review is filled with all the love for the other chapters that I never posted :D HI.

I just hope they get back together and work things out. James needs to loosen up and open himself to Turkish and Turkish needs to be patient during the whole process.

I should have known something like this would happen. But I figure this will be a two-chapter storm. The thing I'm really waiting for the other shoe to drop about is the architecture photographs. because that's going to mean a break from Melissa Anderton, and a whole new career for both of them.

I have to say while most people are going to feel for Turkish in this situation, I have to say my sympathies are with James, he seems like a pretty private kind of person and to have your significant other show your boss that kind of picture would probable make him uncomfortable, added to the fact that he didn't even know the pictures existed, I can see why he exploded.

I really love this story, not only because you're an excelent writter but also because of all the art references, being an art student it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Weird that I feel that way about art right? Well, nevermind, I'm really glad you decided to write this, because I like it immensely. Keep up the good work ^^
