Wow, such a powerful and interesting story. You really enjoy having some kind of moral included in your stories don't you? Haha, I just noticed that xD
Anyway, great description as always. I really got feel of the atmosphere and the hatred going throughout the town. It seems kind of unrealistic though that an entire country would be swayed by the words of a young boy. I guess they were simply tired of following the Kings orders and wanted an excuse to break free. Or maybe I overlooked something, hehe xD
I found it interesting where you got the name Midwich Messiah, that was a very clever way of incorporating it into the story. He was a good man but unfortunately he had to die in the end while trying to save some country that was beyond saving. Loved the ending it wrapped up everything nicely and concluded the story on a good note. Great job with this one.

Anyway, this is amazing, a really great insight into the "Midwich Messiah" whomever he may be, and you almost make him seem real. Great job. Wonderful description without actually making it description, I like it. I'm assuming this is a one-shot but also assuming you write like this all the time, I am looking forward to reading your other work. Great job :) Continue writing, please :)
