Wow this is an amazing story. The things love does to you. And whats worse is when the love is forbidden by your relatives. That topic seems a bit overused but you took it to a whole new level here and used it rather nicely. I didn't get the ending though. Did Sonia lie about it being a girl? So she just left to make it easier on them and had the baby by herself, and it turned out to be a boy? I'm guessing that's what happened, correct me if I'm wrong.
The aunt was very hard to deal with. I don't know what I would've done if I were Rohit but isn't he a man? Couldn't he have stopped his aunt from abusing his mother if he wanted to? That's what I would've done if I were him but then again it might be more complicated than that.
Anyway I really love the idea you had for this story. Everything pulled together nicely and you taught a nice lesson to the readers about true love and the lengths you'll go to to sacrifice something for someone you care about. This was a really bittersweet story. Perfect ending and great description. Truly amazing (:

Interesting. The descriptive style is varied from your usual, so good job on it. The story wasn't anything that could be perceived as a breakthrough by the narrative style made it beautiful. There is just one thing that a sonogram cannot determine the sex of the foetus till the pregnancy is 12 weeks old. However, I think that Sonia's pregnancy is 12weeks old by the time of the sonogram as no time scale has been mentioned.
Other than that, it's a sweet story. You can embellish it more. :)

This was a VERY sweet story. ^-^ Haven't really read anything like it on here before.
I hope to read a lot more from you! Because I have been looking for a good happy sweet romantic story. If there were any typos I did not see really any typos, so all around GREAT story.
