But seriously though -the way you wrote this just felt so right, so different from your other stuff.. Like it isn't even you, though I mean it in a positive way...

What I mean to say is that I think that you've found your writing style that really makes you shine. :)
I love the name Madison. There's something I find so fantastic about girls with guys names XD Like Madison. And Elliot. And Taylor ;)
You captured a really great sense of how Maddie feels -The emptiness and abandonment, but also the bitterness over how Ryan has just left her with (virtually) nothing.
The sympathetic solicitor, Ryan's desire to see the world beyond ol' Belfast, that stomach-turning phone call... It's so perfect in it's own little way.
There's something so traumatizing about how Maddie had been so excited upon hearing her brother's voice, thinking he was coming back to her, but really it was a final farewell...
Damn :/

I STILL hear this being read in Kristen Stewart's voice... SORRY! :P
I feel like I should write a really long review for this to contradict the shortness of the prologue ;) JUXTAPOSITION FTW!
I'm psyched for this story. I know it won't be an easy read but i just loved the sound of the stuff you told me and I'm just really looking forward to it all! Ha -does that make me masochistic?
