When the chapter started, I assumed that she was underage and therefore under her stepfather's control. If she is twenty-one, why hasn't she talked to the authorities? And it sounds like her mom knows and is more jealous than concerned?
At least, being twenty-one, she shouldn't have any reason to go back under her mother's roof.

No please say it isn't over. I feel like there is so much more that needs to happen. What happens when her mom and Carl show up at Grammy's house, and Carl is pissed? What happens to their Paris trip? What happens in their relationship next? Will there be a half-dozen Hayden's toddling around eventually? Please write more! I'm so intrigued, Ellie's character is so genuine it feels like. It feels like I know who she is by the way she talks and thinks and feels. Please write more. I like that Hayden told her his feeling and Elle told him about her stepdad. But Elle's reason to be intimate with him was not right... I don't know... For me it wasn't, but that reason is fitted her character.

Well Hayden sure does take seducing to a whole new level, not that anyone's complaining.
I have mixed feelings about how she feels the need to put out, it's like she feels that she has to because he is an amazing guy and all that but still she shouldn't feel pressured
