the noticeable and yet not obvious way of matching lines in this is wonderful, and the poem is full of such wisdom. i love the way it acknowledges the advances of the previous generations and yet isn't satisfied with leaving things in the complacent okay-ish state they are. if people would give us a chance and just listen to us and encourage us to change things, sure we'd make mistakes but we'd make good comebacks too. my fave line: "You say we're too young, maybe you're too old to remember" it's saying they were once us too, and we don't want to end up with the world staying the same as it is now. love this piece and it's honesty.
