When I glanced at this without reading it I had assumed it was about a lover, but I only had to get a few lines in before I realised the bleeding obvious, it's about the moon!
This is such a sweet idea to write a love story to the moon. so many civilisations idolise the Moon as a goddess, it only makes sense, but in modern Western civilisation we have become so disconnected from nature that the idea of such a story seems almost absurd.
I like the idea of just seeing glimpses as the Moon passes through different phases.
And, this part I only understood on the second readthrough ... the narrator is a wolf, that's why they are singing, and the second part is from the perspective of a human passerby who instead of being impressed, fears the wolves.
'And he smiles. He can't come down with us, he tells us. He has to sit up there, in the sky, to watch out for all of us. But he bids us a good hunt. "Catch one for me, too."' - very sweet :-)
I am sorry but I can't find any criticism for this story!

"Listen to them. Children of the night! What music they make." Bela Lugosi, DRACULA
This little piece just looks cute at first, but when you read it over two or three times it is touching, scary, meaningful and profound. Amazing job!
