I had to wait to read this until today. Otherwise I was gonna crash after I was done playing on my cousin's iTouch :)
Not gonna lie. I missed Zach in this chapter. But I suppose we have to get a feel of the relationship between Allegra (ha... I think of allergy medicine) and Elizabeth. Elizabeth reminds me more of Zach's mother (I'm drawing a huge blank! Ahh. I'm a failure), so that could be part of his attraction to her when they have more contact?
And I'm guessing she'll run into him in the country? I wonder what Allegra's views of Zach are. Like if she looks down on him, even with his impending Lordship, or does she accept him, or is just indifferent... Hmm...
But give me Devon and Rachel! And Dandon (I'm demanding, I know)!

Hahaha! Oh Elizabeth... Now if her aunt's a baron's wife, that makes her a baroness, correct? Which would mean she knows all about Zachary Calder? Hmm... Which I would assume means she will have more encounters with the Lord to be! Lol.

What a lovely first meeting! I can't wait to see how Elizabeth's next adventure goes and what Zachary will do next! Him pinching Elizabeth reminded me of how boys would pull the hair the girls they like. :D Keep up the good work!

So my phone's not being lame anymore and I can review!
I'm currently at work, reading and listening to Xmas music :). I'm so productive (PS it's Faith Hill's 'Where Are You Christmas?'! Lol).
I take it Zachary and Elizabeth with run into each other at the corination? And is he as big as a... Rake? as Ahston was before Carina?
One typo that stuck out at me: "She expected her arm there to wrap her in a tight, warm hug."... Is arm supposed to be aunt? Lol...
Update. Asap. Now that I've read Ashton and Carina, I need more. More. More. MORE!

Eek! I'm definately looking forward to more, bitch! I wanted to be Elizabeth on that boat! Wanted to pull a Rose/Jack move. Haha!
These were a couple minute things I noticed: "Zachary loved him father deeply..." - his father?

This was a wonderful chapter! The opening scene was especially powerful. I like how unusual this story is-unusual as in you break away from the "stereotypical" male hero often found in romance novels. Men who are perfect save for their dark past. But a hero who is deaf... I really like Zachary. I'm uber curious as to how you'll develop his relationship with the heroine. How they'll communicate.
...BTW, the summary for this story is SO god! I swear my heart was beating like a madman when I first read it. Great pitch.
