That was such a ...sad? Story. I wasn't really happy with the story after the fight, but that's my own hopeless romantic opinion xP I kind of felt like it wasn't as full and in depth as the previous chapters, and maybe it went too fast? It would be totally awesome if you did write an epilogue, maybe a wedding scene or after that scene. I know you don't plan on it T.T Btw, is Nikita Japanese? I kept feeling like his name was Japanese, but his personality was way different in my perspective. I have nothing against Japan...

I know this review is completely late. But I really wanted to let you know that I truly admire your work but disappointed with the story. My disappointment has nothing to do with your writing, I'm just a sucker for the sappy happily ever after stories on here. Let me tell you, I am the poster girl for Hopeless Romantic! So I just knew you were going to bring back Nik and Amy at the end of the story, because surely we didn't get enough game time between the two of them in this whole story. But when you gave us this ambiguous ending I was so disappointed and heart broken. Please don't take my disappointment the wrong way. You just completely threw me for a loop with the non-cliche ending and story.
Your writing is fantastic though. I'm in love with your style, I wish I could get my writing to be as fluid and non repetitive as yours. I absolutely love, love, love your imagery and the diction that you use through this piece. Your writing is truly like a breathe of fresh air and I hope to see some published work from you in the future.

Your story is beautiful.
You have masterfully woven depth into your story without ruining the speed of the plot.
The characters seem like people I'd genuinely be interested in knowing, and what may be best, is that it's not the standard cliche all over again.
I love the purity of your story. The man loving the woman because of her deepest thoughts, not because of a physical attraction, as well as genuinely respecting her. The woman wanting marital love, and being someone I really like.
This story feels like you respect your readers, and try giving them something real.

I liked this ending. It gives some sense of closure, but not to its full extent. It leaves the door open just enough to let the reader's imagination take over, even though you're going to write spinoffs. Amy seemed to develop extremely well throughout the story. You're a very good author.
