It's really interesting how you don't start from the beginning in this piece, but gradually reveal what has happened before throughout :) Your descriptions are great, and the emotions are clear, making the reader feel really involved :)
The pace is really good too, but I think the end was maybe a little rushed? Just a thought ^^ It would be awesome if you could expand on this to give us the whole story - I'm putting it on alert just in case! :)
