i've noticed that in your style of writing, the main character is oblivious to her closest friend being in love with her. :P it drives me crazy! it's not bad, just, it's like, AHH, HE LOVES YOU. PAY ATTENTION. you know what i mean? LOL xD

the pace of the story depends on what's going on. sometimes, depending on the events, it might seem faster, or slower.
i think your at a pretty good pace - if it was on a scale, from 1-10, 1 being slowest, then i'd say about 6 :)
btw, this has nothing to do with this story, its about your other one - i forgot to mention, haha, when kazuhiko said 'you can forget about me if it makes you happy', i was like 'hey, that came from KK!'
and then there was another one from something else, but i forget. :DD
