Yes. This is good. I can tell that Madeline "Maddy" is really angry with Robert because of his constant teasing. I can sense that there is a friend/enemy relationship between them although the whole ordeal is reletivly similar to the movie 2 Weeks Notice. Overall, great work :)

Glad to see that Brandi isn't as absurdly offensive or shallow as Mrs. Elton.
The stuff that Madeline spouts to seem knowledgeable to Jewel-"I took Psych 1 and aced it" or "Have you read Cosmo?"-is downright hilarious and would seem absurd if heard in real life. Then again, it's also a bit sad and pathetic that Jewel hangs on Madeline's every word.
Well, well, Robert's little monologue was rather unexpected...and offers some insight into his current emotional state. Nice to see that Madeline actually picked up on it this time.
Typo alert: "Ethan decides that now be would the perfect time to take his little chit to Swift Enterprises."
I think you might need to add the word "perspective" to the phrase "from a businessman – no, a CEO billionaire, womanizing inventor extraordinaire."
And I don't know if this is a typo or not, but in the same line: "Kim is without."
Keep writing.

Well at least the confusion with the Kim and James thing is partly resolved now that Maddy knows Robert doesn't like Kim like that. Though now hopefully Robert will find out that Maddy doesn't have feelings for James. :)
