Somehow, I can't seem find something in this poem that would make me think that despite everything, 'there will be better times', so I'd love it if you would elaborate on your what you were thinking when you wrote this cause I'm a bit curious. However, I read through it about 3 times and the repeat of the rhetorical question: 'And it hurts doesn't it?' really grips me. Reminding me of moments when you're hurt, even if just slightly, yet no one understands/will believe in, you. Thanks for sharing!

I absolutely loved this. I've never been happier reading a poem about pain. But I really do love it, because it's so true!
