I'm enjoying reading this :) shame that we saw so little of Toby in this chapter though... and I don't really know the US school grades thing... so I have no clue what so ever how old they both are - or how old the girl who had the part is... but I do like the characters. :) should be an interesting read. hope to see you update soon! :)

I'm loving the story so far. It's really good. I can only guess but in the summery you said that one of them was a heroin addict and the other was a drunken socialite. My guess would be that Toby will be the heroin addict and Ax will be the socialite? Anyway I really like that last chapter especially, although I think I might like Toby more than Ax. I'm not sure though...:P
Anyway brilliant writing and this is going on my update list for sure!

This was a great first chapter. It's rare to come across something so well written, and I absolutely love that it starts at such a young age. Both Axton and Toby are well described, and it's easy to see the difference in personality. You get a really good idea about what kind of lives they live, but it still leaves many questions.
Very interesting, and I'm looking forward to read more.
