Olivia doesn't make Royce week in the knees? Well this story makes me week in the knees. Here we are three chapters in and already I'm hooked for life. I love these kinds of stories and I really like the fact that Royce was actually considering marrying Olivia but then overheard her orginal reason for marrying him. Its such a good story already and we aren't even that far into it. Gosh! I wish you were finished with it already so I could just keep on reading. I know if this was a book I would be done within a few days. Sigh... I really hope you update soon and good luck with your current problem. I hope everything gets better for you! You're writting iis amazing as are you ! :)

Hi,
I am so sorry to hear about the earthquake and tsunami that has affected Japan. Like the Christchurch earthquake disaster it is all over the news here in Australia and I am glad to hear that you and your family are well. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, your family and your countrymen's situation and that you have a safe night and a speedy recovery from this devestating disaster.
As for this chapter, is it bad for me to be excited that it's up considering the circumstances?
I really like how this is glib so far, I have expectations after the Debutante and so Far, you're living up to them.
I really like the fact that the duke knows all about Olivia's scheming about marrying him for his title.
I am definitely interested to see how his demeanor changes and how Olivia reacts accordingly.
Your dialogue as per usual is very well constructed and seems extremely fitting to the period.
I am very excited about the storyline and can't wait to see what happens next in the plot,

I know you read Julia Quinn, but have you read The Viscount Who Loved Me? It's not the same, but Royce's fear of death reminded me of that (you should totally read it).

Please update soon - absolutely loved your story 'The Debutante' had to read it all in one go! You're one of the few authors I've come accross that can actually encapsulate this time period!

Oh what a wonderful start! I cannot wait to see the meeting between the Duke and Olivia. I'm quite excited about it. You're update came relatively fast which is great news on my end at least. I hope you keep it up. I cannot wait for the next chapter as well as every single one after that. :)

i wonder if their 1st meeting is gonna be a typical love/hate at first sight encounter. I hope there's some kind of redeeming/quirky quality about olivia because she sounds like an overly-ambitious lady from the summary though I find her reason of why she wants to marry a duke at a young age funny. I hope she's kinda smart so that she can witty combacks/insults at the duke cuz i have a feeling they're gonna argue a lot. Please update soon =)!

I'm really excited for this story! The Debutante was amazing, and this story looks like it will be just as good, if not better. Your dialogue is one of the best parts about the story. You manage to make it sound appropriate for the Regency period, but you never overdo it to the point where it becomes cheesy.
