Everything she said to Jay was true. I hope he gets the hint, but I doubt it. Glad that Desmond got a job. They're going to need all the help they can get. I have to say my favorite part is the end, where Michelle confronts Desmond's mom. Can't wait to read more. Take your time, because school should come first. Loved the chapter. :)

I somewhat expected this from Jay. I mean he is helplessly in love whether he knows it or not (I know the feeling). Desmond's mom is cracking slowly but surely. I think she'll end up helping. I'm also thinking the squirrel is going to end up being some kind of metaphor. You did great I can't wait until the next update and I completely understand your school situation. I'm in the same position.

I like how the story is and I LOVE desmonds uncle. Hes so supportive of them and seems like an awesomely nice person. Wish there were more people around like tht lol. Nice story so farr

Sorry I was not able to review your last chapter; once again, I have been flung unmercifully into school.
First things first, I do not remember any spelling/grammar errors, but I am going to leave that to someone who is alittle less dyslexic. But bravo!
Now for something completely different! (Character devolpement, my forte) Umm... I feel as if the reaction from M. and D.'s parent(s) was alittle, um... Over reacted? Forced? But I'm sure that there is a back ground story that will clear this up soon, right? haha:)
Another thing that was bothering me like ALOT in this chapter. D.'s search for a job. HIS GIRLFRIEND IS FLIPPIN' PREGNANT WITH TWINS AND THEY ARE BOTH HOMELESS AND HE IS ABOUT TO DIE A HORRIBLE PAINFUL DEATH! And he is excited about getting discount prices on movies? (something is not right here... I think his priorities are somewhat mixed up...)
Anyways, BRILLIANT chapter, lovely. Very nicely done! (Oh and by the way, just in case you were wondering, I am planning on updating "The Gypsy and the Soldier" quite soon...) Great chapter! Update soon!

Hi. It's very beautiful chapter and I love it. :) Aww... Darren's so nice guy and he's great supportive to Desmond and Michelle. Yay! :D Aww... Desmond and Michelle sharing the bed together. How cute. :) It's nice of Darren to offer Desmond the place, support and help out. Yay! :) I am wonder why Darren ask Desmond to catch the squirre? What's so special about the squirre? Maybe Desmond and Michelle look at the youth house, neighbour centre and community centre for advices about the cheap prices for apartments. I don't know if there any services in Desmond's area do have youth house, community centre and neighbour centre because I am studied community service course so I can become counsellor after that to help people, young people, children, gay people, disability, women and men etc in the future :) And i agree with Darren about support because there are so many people on streets in the world have been suffer from cold, stress, starvation and frozen to death. Its very sad situation. :( I am so glad that Desmond is look for jobs to support Michelle, twins and Darren. Yay! :) OMG! Desmond left his medicine at his house. Poor Desmond. :( Hope that Desmond will get medicines without meet his mum. *hopeful smile* Hurry update soon.
