for Gossip, Set, and Match10/16/2013 c32 Story Addict
I know that I already reviewed this chapter but I had some random thoughts on the brain after reading through the whole story again. Yes, I *love* this story. A lot. Hahaha.
After Reese admitted to seeing Mackie's email open, it all clicked about his reaction to her later confession of being Fairy Gossipmonger. There was nothing to be surprised about so she was surprised instead of him. Also, I think Mackie separating herself from her alter ego is what helped along the fact that she was oblivious about how much Reese really liked her. She was more invested in the alter ego than in being herself.
I started thinking about how Mackie's klutziness could factor in to her admitting her feelings to Reese. Like, for example, she could start doing the announcements with Reese and Drew again and one day the two of them are left in the room together. Something wacky happens and she klutzes out, accidentally turning on the intercom again and having the whole school hear them finally admitting their feelings to each other. I figure a daisy should be included in there somewhere. Hehe. When I first imagined it, I bust out laughing. After all she has been called a drama klutz. :D
Another thought. Are Mandy and Drew going to get a happy ending too? Or is that an opening for another story with them as the stars? I mean, Mackie did say that problems would be fixed and Mandy would happily go to prom without any coaxing. I hope things work out, but ultimately, it's not my call. I can only imagine. :)

so good! i'm enjoying your story so much that i'm running out of positive feedback. what i loved most about this chapter is how reese and mackie acclimated back to interacting with one another... and the fact that he had her favorite dessert ready and waiting for her... how can she continue to doubt his affection for her?! do i sense a guitar serenade in the future? hmmm! i know we've been spoiled with a lot of updates lately but i'm going to cross my fingers that they keep coming!

EEEK The chapter's so cute! Normally I don't think chapters are 'cute,' but this one really is. Mackie and Reese talking is a bit formal, though, so it sounds a bit weird. Maybe Mackie talks like that, though... For example, I would usually say 'Now I'm interested' instead of 'Now I'm intrigued.'
Oh, and I'm might just be being picky, but did Mackie and Reese share the same spoon? I'm not sure if people do that wherever you live, so... :)

I was way off base. It *was* Angela, 'the dark horse' not Kelly, the 'obvious one'. Hahaha. I really overanalyzed the situation. It did bug me a bit when Mackie said Reese was still fair game to Angela even though she did come out and tell her that she herself liked Reese. I just wish she could finally tell Reese that herself. It seems like she can only admit it to others, even if it isn't always outright and just with her expressions.
Anyway, I'm glad that Reese and Mackie finally got to talk. How long will the friends thing last though? I hope that he said that to make her comfortable with him again and not because he doesn't want her as his girlfriend. Hopefully, before long she decides she wants to actively pursue more after a much needed bravery talk with Maddie.. or Nicci. I wonder if it'll be her who finally expresses her feelings to Reese first or if he will during a romantic dinner where it's her with him this time. Or during something else, since you have said you don't like to repeat yourself. :P
Thank you soooo much for brightening my awful day with this chapter. :) I await Chapter 33 with much giddiness and curiosity. I'm rooting for Reese and Mackie to get their well-deserved happy ending!
