for Broken Clocks

Okay I realise I was somehow wrong in my first review. Although I'd love to read you're stories, I can't because of plagiarism pigs like Johnny Smith. I am a bit slow to realise this because I think you mentioned in the description that you had taken them down but in my defence I do have a cat eyeing up my keyboard. Sorry again for my slow uptake. If you could let me know if you're on some other site (like Wattpad), where I can read your beautiful stories (because based on what I read in the first two chapters - I can pretty much guarantee I'll enjoy it), I'd really like to follow you as an author because what I have read, I have thoroughly enjoyed!

You have such a talent and it's sad to know that you're work was plagiarised, it's always a sad day when some jerk with no talent decides to steal what is not his.

Moving on, I think this piece is just fantastic and I've only read the first chapter but I can assure you I'll be reading it right till the end. Unfortunately I can relate to this in some way, I'd rather not spill what happened out in a review but it was very nasty and ugly and I think that's what makes me love your main character because she is so realistic.

"no one wanted a fat girl infatuated with false people and fairytale adventures that would never come true." Well I do. :) I think me and her would probably become good friends because I love fairytales and I have to admit I want to start getting into Greek mythology myself.

Anyway, I really like the concept of this story and I am even finding myself willing her on. Good luck with future writings! :)

Thought you would like to know the plagiarized version of your story has been removed from amazon.

I'm so sorry to hear that. The most maddening part is that this Johnny Smith is trying to make money off of your work. Karma will kick his butt someday. Hopefully soon.

Oh..my...God. I just googled that guy and found Broken Clocks on Amazon. I cannot believe someone would steal your story and then sell it. And he didn't even change anything! I mean, if you're going to plagiarise, at least change something. He even had the audacity to put YOUR summary in his. Can you sue it? You should sue it. (does not deserve to be considered a human being)

I am very sad to hear that your story has been plagiarised, but I am thinking that there will be many other people who will want to read both your stories. I suggest you change to Wattpad which I am also on, and you do not need to worry about plagiarisers because you cannot simply highlight over it and copy on the website. It is also a very popular site so you do not have to be conscious of not enough people reason it. There are also many other fictionpress writers who have changed to Wattpad because of plagiarism. I hop you consider my suggestion, thanks!

I'm sorry to say that I'm one of the people who came across this work by downloading it from Amazon without knowing it was plagiarized. I just wanted you (the real author) to know how much I enjoyed your story. It makes me so angry knowing that I unintentionally contributed to the plagiarism of your story. I have asked amazon for a refund and will be emailing them to try to convince them to take down the story. I have mentioned the plagiarism in my review on . I just wanted to let you know that your work as an author is appreciated.

That is awful!

I recently deleted my stories from because of this issue. I didn't realize it was as bad on this site. I'll definitely keep an eye out for this kind of things happening.

I'm so sorry your story got taken - and that some jerk is making a profit off of it. That is completely unfair; is there a way you can let it be known he stole the story from you so he can no longer earn money from it? I really hope you can. No thieving jerk should earn money from other people's hard work, efforts and imagination.

I'll miss this story a lot. I adored it. You're an amazing writer, and yes, subjectively, there might have been 'flaws', but that didn't stop it from being wonderful and completely enchanting. I understand why you've taken them down and won't be posting for a while - I'd do the same - but I hope we see you again sometime soon :)

Again, I'm sorry about what has happened to you, and I hope things work out for you in the future; you're a really good writer :)

Oh no! I hate when terrible people steal others hard work and then readers on fictionpress suffer because these amazing authors don't feel secure that their stories are safe. I do however understand, and I support any decision you make. BTW Broken Clocks is an amazing story!

I hope you reported him. I found it on Amazon. I literally typed in his name and the title to your story and it popped up. I tried to review but you hve to buy it to do that. Makes me sick. People like that make me afraid to post anything on here. I just spent like ten minutes looking up my stuff just to make sure. Sick. Out of the stories from different authors on this site, you're like the second or third this has happened to... Plagerizing, I mean. I cannot believe he actually had the balls to publish it. What kind of sick person does that? I'm so sorry this happened to you. Even if you don't post anything on here again, keep writing. And if Idiocies of a Chocoholic isn't finished, finish it yourself because I've read it and this and I think you're an amazing author. One of the best I've read on here. Barely any mistakes -spelling or grammar- at all. Keep writing... 'cause you're good at it. Don't let people like tht stop you.

Honey, I'm SO SORRY this happened to you! I've left a comment on his page to say that the story is a rip-off and to warn people off buying it, but have you thought about laying a complaint with Amazon? I'm pretty sure any original work generated by a person automatically falls under copyright, so he shouldn't be able to get away with it, especially seeing as it's clear this story was posted here over a year ago.

If you do decide to post your work elsewhere, I highly recomment 'The Write Away', a livejournal community which I belong to. You go through a screening process when you apply, so not just anyone can access your work and I don't think there's ever been a case of plagiarism. Plus, you get lots of super helpful reviews and consttips for your work. If you're keen, let me know and I'll flick you the details!

Once again, so sorry you got plagiarised :( and may Johnny Smith die painfully!

You should definitely sue him. Your story is amazing and after the rights are yours you should definitely publish it. I'll be keeping an eye out for it in the bookstores! XD

Holly shit! I love this story!

"'None like yours though.'" and "The scars on his wrists and stomach had nothing on the scars within his heart."
Mother of all things sacred, those have got to be the two most touching lines. Seriously, my heart is twanging at the reading of them.
Jeez, Nico, being all deep and stuff.
