Perfect format, and very entertaining to read . . . at least until the last part. That hurt.

I like the formatting and the modern feel to this piece. The way you inserted Jo's voice into the story was entertaining, and my the end I thought I knew her better than most of the other characters.
Such a sad twist, though! Still, I liked how it tied in with the whole turn-your-phone-off thing. Very clever.
Good job and good luck in WCC!

This one definitely wins the "Punch in the Gut" award for the month. The characters were believable, and the development was fantastic. I wasn't expecting that ending at all. This story was sad, haunting, and moving.
I especially loved the narrator's voice. She was interesting. I'd almost like to read about her outside of this disaster segment. This is a perfect story about loss, about the genesis of regret that tears a person apart. Once again, this was very powerful.
Best of luck in the WCC this month!
