This is awesome! I love the whole metaphor weaved into it, and the repetition of the line 'I'm holding my boyfriend's hand' was brilliant, especially with how you tied it in at the end. Also, you're very good at keeping a steady rhythm and rhyme scheme which makes it very easy and pleasant to read. GO TALENT!

Haha you're going to have nightmares? I've got a giant spider to fight :)
But this is a very interesting concept. Wanting love so much that it begins to eat at you...literally, and beginning to hurt you love the most by sapping everything. It's also quite vivid! I like!
ps: Your pic is really cute. It encapsulates the evil in the world quite well :)
