Thanks for allowing us to follow along as your mind takes A Dark Turn.
"...I can only run wild/When I'm asleep." That is a truth, but not a pitiful one. Our wakeful hours give us the opportunity to tame our unconscious wildness so that it doesn't harm others, or ourselves.

You're right...the things that humanity has done are disgusting, and we do need to think more often. Sometimes I have a dark thought and I regret being human sometimes...only sometimes.

"...but a society feeding on remains would still thrive."
That might be the most powerful line of a poem that I've yet read. Robert Frost may not have been flattered to have inspired this gloomy descent into nihilism, but I think he would have been as impressed as I am by your precocious talent.
